The Motoinno team is an association of talented, creative professionals, with proven project delivery experience.

FOUNDER, INVENTOR, COMPANY DIRECTOR: RAY VAN STEENWYK.

Ray is a motorcycle enthusiast with extensive knowledge in motorcycle design and innovation. He is an associate member of the MDA – Motorcycle Design Association (an international body of motorcycle designers) – with over 32 years experience in the fields of advertising, design and high end animation for the international feature film industry. His skills include advanced conceptual engineering, 3D and real world modelling as well as a comprehensive understanding of the physics and complexities of two-wheeled inline vehicles.

COMPANY DIRECTOR/CEO: COLIN ODDY.

Colin is a veteran of the TV and Film world as well, having a 20-year career as a Videographer, Producer/Production Manager and freelance crew on high end productions. He is proficient in sourcing and bringing together valuable production components and financial aspects of commercial development.

The survivor of a death defying motorcycle head-on with a car at age 20, Colin is acutely aware of the limitations of telescopic forks when it comes to emergency breaking and turning to avoid such collisions. The simple answer is, there is no escape with teleforks!

Friends for 22 years, business partners for 14 years, Colin and Ray make a broadly skilled, talented, determined and resilient team.

BOARD ADVISOR: ANDY GREIG.

Andy is the founder and Senior Director of ACAC Innovation. He retired in 2015 after a career in international construction particularly in the mining sector. He worked for Bechtel Group for 34 years; he was a Senior Vice President and Director of Bechtel Group, Inc. leading its global mining business for 13 years.

PATENT ATTORNEY: ALISTAIR SMITH, PATENT ATTORNEY DAVIES COLLISON AND CAVE.

Alistair specialises in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the areas of physics, computer software, business methods and electronic devices, including their application to the medical, biotechnology and cleantech areas.
